Location: Gilan Province, Siahkal County

Project Specifications and Overall Objective:

The objective of this project was to construct two concrete bridge spans to establish a connection between the newly built bypass in Siahkal County and the main highway over the open water channel from the Chapsangar Dam. This was done to facilitate heavy transit traffic from the Deylaman Cement Factory and prevent their entrance into the city, which had previously caused numerous issues due to the constant movement of heavy vehicles.

To achieve this goal, two bridges with dimensions of 12 x 20 meters were designed and constructed by GEO SZAN International Company. The project involved the excavation of 40 in-situ piles with a diameter of 120 centimeters and a height of 25 meters, the construction of a 30-meter-long reinforced concrete deck on both sides, and the installation of 30 precast concrete beams weighing 35 tons each.
