Contract number: 66-1287-B
Start date: 2020.01.01
End date: 2021.09.07
Location: Gilan Province, Rasht City
Project Specifications and Overall Objective:
The mentioned project is one of the largest infrastructure projects in Rasht City, which faced many challenges due to its location in the highly dense and worn-out urban fabric of the central part of the city. The narrow streets, the high number and density of utilities in the area, including overhead and underground cables, water, gas, telecommunications, and fiber optic pipes, as well as the low slope of surrounding buildings’ roofs, made the project execution difficult. Consequently, the client had to obtain the necessary permits from the provincial supply council to ensure better coordination for the project execution. In this regard, GEO SZAN International Company carried out the implementation operations around the clock throughout all seasons of the year by providing a compressed and coherent schedule, which led to the satisfaction of both citizens and the client.
The project specifications consist of the following operations, which have been put into operation:
- Demolition and excavation at depths of 3 to 5 meters
- Installation of 1,000 mm reinforced concrete pipes with an approximate weight of 3.5 tons and a length of 900 meters
- Installation of 800 mm reinforced concrete pipes with an approximate weight of 3 tons and a length of 600 meters
- Installation of 55 concrete manholes
- Soil excavation and disposal volume of approximately 45,000 cubic meters
- Repairing the excavation strip with 1,000 cubic meters of unreinforced concrete
- Covering the excavation strip with 3,550 square meters of Topco asphalt layer
